Welcome!

Welcome to our humble review site! We opened the doors a little over a year ago and we’re still going strong. Over the last year, eight reviewers have joined our ranks so readers will find reviews from a variety of reviewers.
First and foremost, we are a resource for readers of GLBTQ books. We focus on reviews, sharing our opinions of books with fellow readers. We have a lot of visitors out there, and the number of visits continue to grow each month. Our visitors tend to be quiet, and we don’t worry too much about the number of comments. We welcome all respectful comments, but understand that at the end of the day, this site is a resource for readers who are looking for books to buy. It’s nice to have a comment feature on reviews, but no one (authors or readers) should feel obligated to say anything or even thank us. We’re doing this out of a shared love of reading and a thirst for good books.
Our reviewers have a lot of experience and as such may sometimes be perceived as “tough” reviewers. The average rating for reviews on this site is 3.5 stars, which is considered to be above average. On a 1 to 5 rating scale, 3 is smack dab in the middle, it’s the average, it’s a solid rating, and it is used for books that are a decent read. It’s not necessarily a book we’d want to read again, but it is still likable. 3 stars is NOT a bad rating. Our belief is that the majority of books out there in the world are average, so it makes sense that this is our most highly used rating. For more details on our rating scale, refer to Kassa’s explanation of the dreaded stars.
News!
We’re always looking for more reviewers so if anyone is interested, please contact us. We’re flexible and do not require a large time commitment, just ask for indepth reviews that clearly explain your personal opinion on a book you’ve read.
